1. Ellas vencieron al poder del maquillaje
I recently saw @nikkietutorials #thepowerofmakeup #nikkietutorials viral video and felt so inspired. I used to be so insecure about my bare face because of what society told me. I was also insecure about wearing makeup because of what society told me. I either wore too much makeup or not enough #makeupshaming ? I don't wear makeup to hide my flaws, I wear makeup because I fucking love it #dowhatmakesyouhappy ? Makeup is a form of art and expression but that doesn't mean we can't rock our bare faces #art #expression ? At the end of the day, if it makes you feels beautiful and confident then that's all that matters #womenempowerment ? Ladies & Gents let me see you do a perfect winged liner everyday ? no filter btw lol

I don't usually take part in internet trends but this one I couldn't resist. For those of you who don't know about this, watch NikkieTutorials "The Power of MAKEUP" video and catch yourself up to speed. As some of you know, I have an obsession with makeup, I have 10x more eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks that anyone would ever need (that's for sure) and I love getting to play with it all every day. I know there are going to be people that assume that I am self conscious and that I hate the way that I look without makeup and you could not be more wrong. At one point in my life yes, I couldn't leave the house without my eyeliner on. That was back in my years of junior high and early high school. Believe it or not, I actually went a whole year (maybe even longer) without wearing makeup at all. Since my senior year of high school I've come back to wearing makeup, and wearing it for the right reasons. I do not use makeup as something to mask my insecurities (not like I have much anymore), I use it to express myself. I love being able to change the way that I look just by putting some coloured liquids and powders on my face. It's the most personal form of art. No I do not do it for boys/girls, I'm too busy checking myself out to care about anyone else's opinions. Long story short I look fucking good with/without makeup. Shame me for it, I dare you. And I also should have put on makeup on the other side of my face because I'm anal about angles. #selfie #makeup #thepowerofmakeup #grannyhair #whitehair #silverhair #lipstick #kvdlook #vampira

The power of makeup 〰 I love makeup & you should too, don't be ashamed or embarrassed that it makes you feel either a little bit better about yourself or a whole fucking lot better about yourself. It's all about how happy you are on the inside that counts most, and if drag queen makeup does that for you then bloody rock it out. Personally, I love glamming myself up on a Saturday while being a homeless bum during the week ? // 100% Inspired by my fave makeup artist & biggest inspiration @nikkietutorials #thepowerofmakeup #fotd #eotd #anastasiabeverlyhills #maccosmeticsaustralia #modelrocklashes #212 #inglotcosmetics #adelaidesa #adelaideaustralia #adelaidemua #mua #glam #tooglamtogiveadamn #matteredlip #satudaythemeday #vegas_nay #batalash #makeupguru

Make up is beautiful. But underneath all that? That's where our true beauty lies. I believe we should all be judged based on our character and not the way we look. I mean, you're bombarded with messages everyday about how to contour this and how to get the perfect brow shape that… and you know what? At the end of the day we screenshot all these beautiful make up looks that we want to re-create – but shouldn't there be more? I have 26,000 followers…besides just inspiring someone to look better… I want to inspire people to feel better – to be better and just love themselves with every fiber of their own being. So this post is dedicated to my BAD BITCHES out there – YOU GO GIRL!!! ? (I was getting too emotional) #thepowerofmakeup #nikkietutorials

I saw an article today about how girls were doing half faces of make up and posting about #thepowerofmakeup I thought it was a cool idea and wanted to join in. I wear make up because I like it. It's a pick-me-up on days im not feeling my best, its a confidence booster on the days that I need some. The process of putting on make up is also something that helps my anxiety. I wear make up for myself. It's something I enjoy. I know I'm pretty with it and without! It's just something that helps me feel extra special, or extra beautiful sometimes. Stop make-up shaming!!

#thepowerofmakeup Since I first saw the net-breaking @nikkietutorials video of the power of makeup, I was so inspired. To be able to love makeup, you must be able to love yourself first (if not, how the hell you'll gonna love somebody else?!) and if not, it's just makeup! You are not your eyeliner or your lipstick; you are a lovely person with your own personality that chooses to do whatever you want.

And that's how I look when I wake up vs an hour later :) I don't wear makeup everyday. I definitely don't look like the right picture every time I do wear makeup. The point is though, if you see me at shop rite, you see the real me. Dark circles and all. You see all of my problem areas on my face. You see my hair on the second or third day. But I'm still very much confident in my natural state as I am when I'm wearing makeup. No I don't wear makeup because society tells me to. Yes I am a feminist. I'm a woman so of course I'm a feminist. I don't wear makeup to hide my flaws. I wear it because I like to. There's something that's very therapeutic about creating angles on my face and putting color on my face. I just like to do it. So all of this #makeupshaming and #slutshaming and any kind of #shaming is just completely unnecessary and the reasons behind it invalid. Women are all born little girls that like themselves. Lets not get in their way and start telling them they shouldn't like themselves. Instead be a woman and enjoy yourself and show little girls that liking yourself is the RIGHT thing to do.

Before you freak out. Here's why I'm posting this. When I was in middle school I hated myself. People endlessly teased me for how I looked and how I dressed. I guess I was a late bloomer lol. When I was 15 my sister put makeup on me (never knowing I would actually like it) if you were to ask me in middle school if I would ever put on makeup id say no (I didn't see the point In making a line around my Eye). I continued to put makeup on myself throughout my freshman year and at first I hated it. It took me longer to get ready and of course it was inconvenient. But I did it anyway. It wasn't until my sophomore year I discovered a youtuber (@dulcecandy) and I found this whole community of girls just experimenting with makeup. And it wasn't because it was to impress men. It was because it was FUN. From that point on I liked using color when I did my makeup. I experimented with my look because I LOVE playing with makeup. I love being creative with it. (my favorite class in middle school was art) before my sophomore year I hated myself. It wasn't until something terrible happened in my life that I decided to Love myself. And everyday I do have insecurities but Im still learning to love myself even without the makeup, because both versions of myself is still ME. So stop makeup shaming me and all the other people who wear makeup because we don't do it to please everyone else. It's simply fun for us to be creative. #ThePowerOfMakeup #StopMakeupShaming
